Chemistry Card

I was trying to find something chemistry related for my dad's birthday. I cut the beaker shapes from the Silhouette, and then printed the cat image for the inside of the card. I think he will like it!

Happy Birthday and a Butterfly

You wouldn't think it was Phoenix today, we had snow and hail! It was crazy, not used to that. Here are a couple of spring-ish cards. Just need some spring weather!

Birthday Cards

So they don't look like birthday cards, but I really wanted to personalize them for a couple of gal pals that had some birthdays this past month. When I use patterned paper for my base(which I have been loving lately), I will adhere a solid piece of paper in the inside so my writing shows up. Have a wonderful weekend!

Birthday Sundaes Challenge #41

Birthday Sundaes Challenge #41 is to create an easel birthday card. I will admit that I had no clue how to make one! I went over to you tube and found some tutorials on how to do it. Not so hard after all.

Birthday Sundaes Challenge #29

The challenge over at Birthday Sundaes for this week is to use  Ribbon on your Birthday cards. I added some ruffled ribbon to the side of my card:) You can never have enough birthday cards on hand, I am so glad to have another one added to the pile!

Birthday Beach Style

My in-laws graciously hosted the whole family for Audrey's birthday, it was wonderful! Talk about stress free for me:)
Cupcake toppers and custom tag graphics are from Pluff Mudd Studio. She did such a great job in helping me craft for the party.
I took a few beach buckets from Micheal's (they were spring ones on clearance for a dollar) and played around with cutting vinyl. Not too hard to master, you just never know what you are getting yourself into when trying something new!

Minnie Party- More Details...

I'll admit that this wasn't my most favorite cake to make...but, Audrey loved it- and that's what counts :) The bottom was a 12 inch cake pan (that took two boxes of cake mix!) I then had a bow candy mold and just stuck them to the bottom edge. The cupcake liners were black and white polka dots. I found the bows at the fabric store for 15 cents a piece. They easily slid into the toothpicks.

Audrey taking a snack break.

I put a bunch of bows in a jar to have everyone guess the amount. It was quite the hit.

The mouse ears were cut with my Cricut. I then punched holes in the top and bottom and threaded through the straws.

I found these purses and cute little headbands to put in them for the girls. The boys got chalk and a hot wheel (Dante helped pick those out!)
More photos at Flickr, if interested! Thanks for checking out Audrey's 2nd Birthday:)

Minnie Party Goodie Table

I have allot of images to share from Miss Audrey's second birthday!! So, I am going to split it out over separate posts as not to get too overwhelming :)

This was the treat table that was set up in the front entry. I have a "baking closet" with lots of containers and trays, so I just shopped from there to put out all the treats.

I have got to say that this fabric was one of my favorite things! I found it at a local fabric store and knew it was a must. It was 9 dollars a yard (hence, I got one yard!) My mother in law serged the edges with black thread.

My mom is always looking out for good deals for party favors...So, these sunglasses were in my stock pile. I just hung them on a Mickey Mouse glass for the kiddos to pick out their favorite color.

More to come:)

Full of Sunshine

First off, I have to share with you an adorable pincushion that I won from simply bess. It is now sitting by my sewing machine looking oh, so cute! Thank you Bess!

This little one is about to turn 2... She has got such a fun, sassy personality. I like to call her mouth of the south, just like her mama ;) Will be back soon with some June Scrapbook Sussies sneaks!
