Cupid is Coming!

Time for some pink and red. We have our big box of Valentine decorations ready to be put out this weekend. So many more cards to come! Sadly, my little crafter is ready to move on to Easter. I told her we have to at least wait to March to do that;)

So there you have it, the rest of my December Daily! It was a hodge podge of December events. I was happy to have it all pulled together in a cohesive album.

December Daily 2012

Here it is, my December daily. Or as I like to say, my December "not so daily." My photos either fall into the category of events, or just random pictures took throughout the month of November/December.
It ended up being a chunky little book. I did use the Studio Calico December Daily kit for this. For me, it was worth it for the convenience of having all the supplies ready to go. Trust me, this was one of the few projects that was actually completed this year, it was stress free!
A tree picture. First page. Allot of my pictures were Instagrams...I just re-sized in Picasa and printed at Walgreens.
Polar Express pages...
Some Las Vegas and botanical gardens luminaries.
Preschool crafts and home decorations.
Whew, we are halfway there. I'll post part two soon:)

Bit the Bullet...

I need more scrapbooking items like I need a whole in my head.... But, this I couldn't pass up! I have been looking at the Cameo forever, but had a hard time justifying it with having all my Cricut goodies. But, the flexibility of the Cameo has been calling my name:) So, at Overstock as of today, 11/29/12, they have the  Silhouette Cameo Mega Bundle for $229. Then I found a coupon code here that got me another $20 off, plus free shipping! For $200, I was ready to take the plunge, as soon as I give back my leftover Vegas money to the hubby;)

Monday Happy News

I wanted to share some good news! I'll be on the upcoming cardabilities Design Team! It has been a while since I've been on a DT, but I felt this would be a perfect fit, and am really excited about it!
A post feels kinda lonely without a picture, so here is a tag I submitted from one of their past sketches.

Christmas Cards!

After 5 years of attempting to make all my Christmas cards...it finally happened! It just took me starting before Halloween to get it completed:)  Some things that helped me push through this:
1. Gather all your holiday papers and embellishments so you aren't searching for items when in card making mode.

2. Find a design that works for you, and do 3 or 4 the same way to keep the flow going. I would do a couple just with snowflakes, and do variations with paper or embellishments.

3. Feeling creatively blocked? Check the internet or magazines for Christmas inspiration.

OK, here is round 1!

Stamp Organization

I don't think I have gone more than a week of posting in a very long time, if ever! Well, I have been on a spring cleaning/organizing rampage:)
I am still not close to done, but did want to share the first phase- which was stamp organization. All of my acrylic stamps are now in binders. One for all shape stamps and one for alpha stamps. I used We R Memory Keepers page sleeves, because they are a little bit sturdier than the regular ones that you will find at the office supply store.
I also thinned out my regular rubber stamps. They now all fit in a small 3 drawer container.

Here are a couple of pages of the acrylic stamp pages. I took out all the outer packaging of small stamps, and adhered the plastic backing with a sticky dot on white card stock. I slid larger sets directly in the page protector.

The alphabet stamps were also slid into page sleeves. I do have a few sheets of Technique Tuesday stamps, which are conveniently already set up for a three ring binder.

Embossing organization coming soon!
