I took the kiddos to the Children's Museum for some early morning fun on Saturday. We got there just after it opened, and it was like we had the place to ourselves.
I used the Disney Happily Ever Cartridge to cut out all of these cute dresses. Then, I embellished each one with different goodies that I had waiting to be used:)I then strung them along a long piece of ribbon and attached them with small clothespins that you can find at craft stores.
I have been wanting to go behind our house ever since all the flowers started blooming. (Thank you spring rain!) So I head back there as soon as the hubby came home yesterday... Audrey was not a fan of me leaving her in the backyard. So, she is screaming like crazy while I am trying to take pictures. Poor baby! I got a couple shots and made my way back home;)
On a scrappy front, one of my goals for this year was to get published. I just got the email that I will be having a card published in CARDS magazine this fall!
Challenge #5 over at Fantabulous Cricut is... April Showers (water) Theme: Create a project that has something to do with "Rain or Water" ideas/examples: hat, umbrella, life preserver.
I used the Paisley cartridge for the umbrella, and Don Juan for the font. This was a gift for the baby shower that I hosted last week. The wall hanging came from Hobby Lobby. Happy Monday!
If you haven't seen Miss Audrey's birthday party from last summer, Pluff Mudd Studio did a really sweet feature on it! It was a strawberry theme for the week on the blog, total cuteness!
We had a lovely baby shower at our house this week honoring the cutest couple that is expecting a baby:)The colors were pink and yellow, and the theme was a "shower" shower. Can't beat that in Arizona.
This weeks challenge at Fantabulous Cricut is to include a word and shape on your project:the word is "Happy" and the the shape is a "Flower"
I just knew that I had to do a wall hanging this week! I took out the glass of a 12x12 scrapbook frame and just popped in the scrapbook page. It is now in the front entry of our house. I figure when I get tired of it, I'll just stick it in my scrapbook. The fontisPlantin SchoolBook, and all the flowers are from the Paisley cartridge.
This Scrapbook Sussies kit (and add on of course!) is so colorful and adorable. I can't wait to do more with it. I am thinking a spring mini book will be in order!
I had to share my husband's latest project...cupcakes! His work did a April Fools potluck, and this was his contribution. All I did was bake the cupcakes, the rest was his doing. The project is in the Hello, Cupcake! book.
