Birthday Cards

So they don't look like birthday cards, but I really wanted to personalize them for a couple of gal pals that had some birthdays this past month. When I use patterned paper for my base(which I have been loving lately), I will adhere a solid piece of paper in the inside so my writing shows up. Have a wonderful weekend!

Summer Stripey Cards

Rounding out the end of my summer cards. I am hoping if I start to make some fall themed cards, it will force the weather to cool down :)

I have a little  4 year old scrapping buddy now! She loves to make thank you cards...They are all over the house, it is fun finding them hidden.

Sailboat Card

Hello friends, I have a new card to share today! The boat is from Cricut Just Because Cards cartridge, and it worked perfectly with the boat paper. I found a stash of SRM stickers in a folder, so I decided to make good use of them:)

Football Mini Book

I made a mini for a friend's upcoming birthday. Although I didn't have a ton of pictures, it was just enough to pull a mini together. The book size is 5x7.

Summer Foods Cards

I kinda waited to long for 4th of July cards, so here are some summer foods cards. When my mom found the Carousel Cricut cartridge at Wal Mart for half off, I was all for it! It has a cool font, and quite a few really cute images. Think I will be moving on to some beach themed cards next, I have lots of Echo Park summer stickers waiting to be used.

Back in Business

Capri, checked of the must see list

Taking a week off from blogging turned into about four months rather quickly! My mom and I took the kids on a spring break trip to San Diego, and right about that time I developed an infection...that turned into a nightmare. And honestly, it isn't fully straightened out, but much more manageable than it has been for a few months. I have a new found respect for people that have chronic pain.
Lots of the usual has gone on, and some fun things with the family. The hubby and I spent a couple of weeks on vacation, a lovely Mediterranean cruise with a few days of Rome squeezed in before and after. We set up a small pool in the backyard, I don't know why we didn't think of this about ten years ago when we moved in, it has made the heat much more bearable.
I have been doing a few crafts here and there, I am ready to share and see what all everyone else has been up to! (Ooh, and I did do a blog makeover:)
