Anchors Away

This is a large card, it measures something over 6x6...I don't think I even have an envelope that big. Maybe I'll just add it to a gift package I mail out!

I love cutting project life type cards out bigger to make a greeting card. They always look so cute.

The kids have been out a week now. We have been readjusting our schedule to be a bit more relaxed. The pool has been put out in the backyard. The water is still too chilly for me, but give another 100 degree week, and I'll be in there soon!

Boat Card

I am loving the nautical trend right now. It makes me want to live closer to the ocean!
Warning: more summer nautical cards to come...

Sew Great

The spool card was a Mother's Day card, I really tried to personalize each card that I made for the moms in our life. I love the sentiment on the second card, everything will be o.k. That is a good one for just about anytime in my book. Summer is quickly approaching, and I have the next couple of months plotted out. I just want to make sure we have a few snow cone dates!

Pastel Cards and the Latest

We went out for Mother's Day this afternoon, trying to beat the restaurant crowds of tomorrow. It sorta worked, the place was pretty full! I have been focusing so much on restoring my health, cards and crafts have been taking a backseat. I did run a 10K this morning, and then made it to yoga this morning. Out church has just started doing Holy Yoga. I have been enjoying it immensely.

Here is a pic of me after the run...The family suprised my and showed up at the end. I really felt like walking at the end, it was so hot. But, little Audrey was cheering me on, it gave me motivation:)

May Day

Aah May, so happy you're here! I have been straightening out health issues...things are getting better! I have been going to acupuncture for about a month now, it has made a huge difference. And trust me, it would really have to work well for me to continue to do it. I have slowly learned to relax while having it done:)

I have two cards for you today. The feather card is probably the first card in a year that hasn't usded patterned paper...love that triangle washi tape. Oh, and I have a card published in the current Cricut Cards magazine, can't wait to share it!
